‘Tea Prepared’ Raises £131.75!

Date: 16th Feb 2021 Author: Lindsay Hague-Morgan

Tea and cake lovers alike joined together to raise a fantastic £131.75 towards the Scout Hut renovation! A range of cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee and soft drinks were provided, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available to ensure we were inclusive for all needs!

A range of activities were available for the Young People, and a number of our attendees signed up to be volunteers for the group!

A successful afternoon and a tasty way to fundraise!  Thank you to everyone who baked and donated, helped with set-up and clearing up, served drinks and cakes, and to all who attended!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
