Do you love your Scout receiving badges, but hate sewing them on?

Scouting often looks at how we can make it easier for Leaders and Young People but we often
overlook what some would argue are the most important people who support the young people…
“the parents and carers”. We would like to introduce a hassle free badge service to make it easier for parents and carers who struggle to keep up with sewing on the badges.

For as little as a £10-a-term donation and we will arrange for badges to be sewn on the uniform (targeting a week).

You need to:

• Provide a clean uniform that has been washed or is new.
• Pin on the badges where you want them on the uniform, if you are struggling just let our GSL gsl_mbscouts@outlook.com know.
• Put the uniform in a bag with the Badge Sewing Order Form and drop it off in the porch of The Rectory, Park Street, Market Bosworth CV13 0LL by Thursday lunchtime. (see map below)
• Use a similar process if transferring badges to a new uniform. You need to use your old badges please take them of the old uniform and pin to the new uniform.

We will return the uniform at your Young Person’s section meeting.

How long will it take?

You drop off by Thursday Lunchtime >> 1 week >>We pick up following Thursday >> a few days >> You pick up at regular Section meeting

What does it cost and how do I pay / sign up?

£10 a term (£30 every year). When you drop off we will activate a payment to be taken via OSM.

What happens to the money?

We donate to the people sewing the badges 50p per badge which either goes to them or towards the Parish Hall fundraising. If you are interested in sewing badges for charity please email me: gsl_mbscouts@outlook.com 

What if I am not satisfied?

If we cannot get to an amicable solution then please provide the uniform to the Group Scout Leader who will arrange for the badges to be removed and £10 donation for the current term will be fully refunded if requested.
