1st Market Bosworth AGM 2022

We held our AGM at the Scout Hut on Monday 27th June, thank you so much to those who were able to attend. We started at 7:15pm were all done in 15 minutes for the AGM and by 7:45pm were truly finished after some thank yous and awards. What an eventful 30 minutes!:
- We had three amazing women to thank who are leaving us this year, Charlotte, Claire and Kate.
- Two new trustees to vote in- Clare (Secretary) and Chloe (Treasurer)
- The Dixie Foundation Trust awarded a grant to the Scout section. The young people who had written to them requesting a Projector, Screen, Blinds, Fridge were very pleased to receive the cheque!
- Hedgehog (Lindsay) was awarded her wood beads by the Deputy District Commissioner. This takes a lot of dedication and patience to get through. Well done Hedgehog!
- Three of our Beaver Scouts achieved their Chief Scout Awards. Again a lot of dedication to achieve these, well done Casey, Jonah and Henry.
The past year has seen the outside of the Scout hut be renovated and we are now looking to the inside. 1st Market Bosworth Scout Group is the largest it has ever been in 21 years and we are very excited for the future. Please take a minute to read our AGM report below to find out more:
